According to a report by TMJ4, Janiyah Jones reportedly ordered chicken wings from Fryer’s restaurant on DoorDash, but her food never arrived. The outlet explains that her driver, Faith Morris, attempted to complete the order but ran into issues with phone service. Morris went home and connected to her home WiFi to cancel the order. However, shortly after, Jones started messaging her.

TMJ4 cites court records that say Jones asked, “So, which one yours?” Morris told the outlet in an interview that she feared Jones got her address by following the GPS pin on the DoorDash app. “There’s no way she should have been able to call me for an hour after this happened,” Morris said. “She did this over a 10-piece chicken wings. She passed Fryers to come here,” she added.

The DoorDash Customer Was Caught On A Ring Camera

TMJ4 reveals scary footage of the customer knocking on Morris’ door. Court records say that she then began to “strike her vehicle with a tire iron, smashing her windows.” Jones also reportedly tossed a brick at the car.

Authorities said they were able to confirm Jones’ identity by matching the ring camera footage to bodycam video captured earlier this year. The suspect was reportedly involved in a car crash.

Court records say Jones did $10,000 worth of damage to Morris’ car. Morris claims she has been unable to work as a driver due to the damage. A spokesperson for DoorDash provided a statement to TMJ4, which reads in part, “This customer’s actions are completely uncalled for, unacceptable, and disturbing.

Authorities have charged Jones with Criminal Damage to Property and Disorderly Conduct. She could face more than three years behind bars if convicted, per WISN.

Last month, a bizarre DoorDash order made the rounds on social media. A British Columbia woman noticed a strange charge of $8 on her phone when she woke up one morning. She had no recollection of ordering anything, but claims she ordered a single sachet of honey mustard sauce while sleepwalking. The woman shared Ring camera footage of the delivery, saying she placed the bizarre order in the dead of night at 1 AM.

Several commenters chimed in, claiming to be delivery drivers and shared similar odd orders they’d received on the job.
