A bombshell new document has claimed that the FBI spied on nine senators during the Biden administration.

The FBI secretly obtained the phone records for nine Republican Congress members, which included 8 sitting senators. This was part of a Biden administration investigation into 2020 election meddling called Arctic Frost.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) released a document explaining the findings. The document didn’t reveal why the FBI chose these sitting senators for investigaton.
- “Based on the evidence to-date, Arctic Frost and related weaponization by federal law enforcement under Biden was arguably worse than Watergate,” Grassly wrote.
- “What I’ve uncovered today is disturbing and outrageous political conduct by the Biden FBI. The FBI’s actions were an unconstitutional breach, and Attorney General Bondi and Director Patel need to hold accountable those involved in this serious wrongdoing.
- “I started the Arctic Frost investigation in July 2022 after hearing from whistleblowers. It’s taken years to get records and advance my investigation, but what the public is seeing now demonstrates the importance of congressional oversight and whistleblowers. My whistleblowers deserve great thanks for what they’ve helped expose. None of this would have been known without them.”
FBI Targeted Senators
According to the document, the FBI conducted “preliminary toll analysis on limited toll records.” The bureau targeted the following senators in particular.
- Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
- Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.)
- Josh Hawley (R-Mo.)
- Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska)
- Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.)
- Ron Johnson (R-Wis.)
- Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.)
- Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.)
- Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.).
After the bombshell document dropped on Monday, it shook Washington. FBI director Kash Patel spoke out about the scandal.
- “We recently uncovered proof that phone records of U.S. lawmakers were seized for political purposes,” Patel said in a statement. “That abuse of power ends now. Under my leadership, the FBI will deliver truth and accountability, and never again be weaponized against the American people.”
Meanwhile, Marsha Blackburn, who was targeted, spoke out.
“Now we find out that after the Mar A Lago raid, after the indictment of President Trump, they surveil us: the people who support President Trump — members who are all Republicans,” Blackburn said. “It shows you how out-of-control and rotten to the core and politicized the FBI had become. … We look forward to further investigation on this.”
