Now, one person has sparked an online debate when they shared the “disgusting” way that cruise passengers are using their bras.

The Details: A Reddit post entitled “Ladies – Get a lanyard” did not hold back. In this post, the person complained about something they witnessed. In particular, they were offended by where several female cruise passengers chose to stash their SeaPasses.
- The user was on the Independence of the Seas cruise line.
- They wrote, “Twice I’ve seen ladies reaching into their blouses to locate their SeaPass, which was stashed in their bras.”
- The user shared that they find this “disgusting for the crew members and for everyone who has them touch their drink glasses afterwards.”
The Drama Over Cruise Passengers Using Their Bras
This Reddit user was not looking for input; they were sharing their thoughts. This individual even offered what they considered to be an appropriate solution. Rather than stashing their SeaPass in their bras, this individual suggested that the ladies buy a lanyard to hold their pass.
The Internet Reacts: Although this individual felt strongly in their conviction about this being “disgusting”, not everyone agreed. Many people told this person to get a grip. Here is one of the opposing comments.
- “People do not wash their hands with soap and water after leaving the restrooms. People do not wash their hands so often that cruise ships have to almost beg them to before visiting the buffet. Boob sweat is the very least of your worries, my guy.”
Additionally, others offered even better solutions to this supposed problem.
- “From the perspective of customer-centricity, it would be better for cruise lines to offer NFC wrist bands (in addition to cards). Give customers a choice.”
