- Swift and Kelce broke the internet on August 26 when the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer posted an engagement picture with the caption “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” to Instagram.
The news shocked her fans, including CBS Reporter Olivia Rinaldi, who appeared literally lost for words by the announcement.

Reporter loses her cool: Collin Rugg posted a short clip to X, which users on the platform have already viewed over 1 million times.
Rinaldi checks her phone before pulling a comic-book surprised face and exclaiming, “Taylor Swift is engaged!” She says, “This… Come back to me, she just posted it. Oh my God, oh my God!” The CBS reporter allegedly said “Oh my God” 10 times as she internalized the news. “Oh, it’s huge, the ring is ginormous! This is so exciting,” she continued. The excited reporter added, “I feel like Paul Revere right now.”
After a few moments, Rinaldi regains her composure. “This is a very exciting moment for me in my professional career because I get to announce that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged,” she says.
Internet has a field day: Naturally, commenters on the platform were quick to take jabs at the reporter’s response.
