A bystander at the airport recorded the woman’s behavior from a safe distance. @Peyton Turberville posted the footage to TikTok with the caption, “first class ticket to the no fly list!”

The woman appears to throw a kick at one staff member, although it’s unclear if she hit the worker. Tuberville tells the camera, “Ooh, that’s assault.” The lady briefly backs off before returning to the desk, smashing a computer screen multiple times, and shouting at the nervous staff members.

One worker leaves his post and tries to walk around the woman as she screams at him. She appears to yell, “Two flights wasted. Two flights, three planes, after 45 minutes.” The woman then shouts at bystanders in the airport to “call the police.” She adds, “I have my rights. That’s what I want. Call the police.”

After a few moments, the woman returns to the desk. She grips her phone and punches another computer screen with it.

Authorities Arrested The Woman On Multiple Charges

Many details about the incident remain unclear. Per FOX 7 Austin, Turbeville explained that the woman was upset because she did not make the standby list for three flights. However, the outlet notes they are unable to verify that claim.

FOX 7 reveals that Orlando Police confirmed they responded to an incident at the airport at around 9:30 PM. They identified the woman in the video as Selomit Velez-Rodriguez. Authorities reportedly arrested her for battery, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest. She allegedly tried to “pull away” from officers as they took her into custody. Velez-Rodriguez was reportedly released after posting her $5,000 bond.

Earlier this month, an airplane passenger rowed with staff after they reportedly caught him vaping in the toilet. He posted his back and forth with the airplane staff on social media, after threatening to call the police and a lawyer. It remains unclear if anything happened once the plane landed, but commenters unanimously blasted his behavior.
