One restaurant’s “small screaming children” not allowed policy was not exactly well recieved

A peaceful dinner, shattered by a screaming child can ruin a nice night out for many adults, so much so, that a Canadian restaurant owner took to Facebook, banning what he called “small screaming children” in his eatery.

Richard Moore, owner of The Lobster Pound and Moore in Nova Scotia became tired of children who were disrupting other diners that he went to Facebook and made a statement that has since been removed.

According to CBC News, Moore posted:

Effective as of now, we will no longer allow small screaming children.  We are an adult themed restaurant that caters to those who enjoy food and are out to enjoy themselves. We understand this may upset some, but after careful consideration, we feel it’s best for those enjoy, appreciate and understand our business.

In less than 24 hours, the original post was replaced, and this was put in it’s place.

The new post received many comments in support of not allowing screaming children in the establishment.  One post went so far saying that “parents of unruly children should be apologizing to you.”
