There is an adoration between them, a common love for songs, music and each other. This undeniable love between Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert was on full display March 12 at a show in Dallas, Texas. “I don’t know if you know…or maybe you do…what a big night this is for Miranda,” Blake told the crowd assembled in Dallas, which is just 80 miles from where Lambert was raised in Lindale. “I truly feel that Miranda is the most important country artist in music today.”
Lambert gushed over the performance in a Facebook post on March 13. “Still on cloud 9 from last night! Thanks Blake Shelton for surprising everyone in Dallas! #hubby #home #family #Texasproud”
The two collaborated on a duet of Shelton’s hit “Austin” during the show. “You just can’t walk out on stage in Texas,” said Shelton. “You have to play something that means something to people in Texas, so I hope y’all know this one.”
And the crowd did; they sang along and roared as one of the most beloved couples in country music once again showed the magic between the them.
