Police in Massachusetts are warning parents that what look like innocent gummy candies could pose a risk to children.

CBS Boston reports Harvard police say several kids in the area have fallen ill after eating gummies laced with marijuana byproducts.
“Over the last week several kids in this area have ended up in the hospital,” police wrote in a Facebook post. “These are chemically altered items that are hurting kids. Please take a moment and look at what your children have on them before they leave the house.”
The label for EdiPure Red Fish doesn’t exactly lie about what’s in it. It carries a warning about its THC content. But to a kid, they may resemble Swedish Fish.
