Two men in Tonbridge, England, have a practiced approach to stealing strangers’ motorcycles. One of the men (also on a motorcycle) rides up beside the victim and distracts him while another rider pulls the keys out of the ignition. It seems that at some point, they’re exchanging the keys and making off with the motorcycle.

However, that didn’t work out so well when they tried to rob biker Luke King, who wasn’t willing to part with his bike. As soon as he noticed that the lead biker had nabbed his keys, he wasted no time in tackling the man. With a spew of expletives, he retrieves his keys and sufficiently scares the hell out of the would-be thief. The footage of the failed robbery has gone viral on social media, and thankfully the victim was wearing a helmet camera.

The other accomplice in the botched robbery seems to get off free, at one point in the video, we can see him disappearing into traffic. However, the thief who tried to pull the keys out of the ignition definitely won’t forget this, and there’s a pretty good chance he won’t be trying it again.
