What happened: According to a report by WSBTV, Captain Nicole Dwyer with the Fulton County Police Animal Services confirmed that the actor has an arrest warrant.

  • Dwyer said authorities received a call from Gibson’s neighbor, Harrison Parker, on September 18. He reportedly let his dog out into his yard with an invisible fence. Minutes later, Parker found his dog fatally injured.
  • The outlet cites official documents that say Parker’s 5-year-old pet suffered puncture marks and internal bleeding. He reportedly said, “I found my dog dead in my driveway. Not hearing him around, it’s just awful. He was one of the sweetest dogs, and to have him get murdered is, it’s indescribable.”
  • WSBTV reveals that a police report documents at least five separate incidents of Gibson’s Cane Corso running loose. Per FOX 5, neighbors have called authorities about the actor’s dogs multiple times since April.
  • Dwyer also noted a YouTube post by Gibson called “Tyrese Unleashes His Guard Dogs: Bite Their Ankles Off!” During the video, he allegedly jokes he wants his dogs to “bite their ankles off and leave them at the front door.”
  • According to WSBTV, Dwyer said Gibson was currently in Dubai. A post on Instagram claims he is on a mental health break.

The ‘Fast And Furious’ Stars’ Attorney Released A Statement

A difficult decision: FOX 5 reportedly received a written statement from Gabe Banks, Gibson’s attorney, on September 30.

  • “Mr. Tyrese Gibson extends his deepest condolences to the family who lost their beloved dog to this tragic incident that occurred while Mr. Gibson was away from his home,” the statement reads. “Upon learning of this unfortunate accident, Mr. Gibson immediately made the difficult decision to rehome his dogs to a safe and loving environment.”
  • The statement explains that Gibson is cooperating fully with authorities regarding the misdemeanor warrant. The actor reportedly asks for privacy as the matter is resolved through the appropriate legal channels.
