When emergency services arrived, the pizza employee was declared dead on the scene.

The tragic incident that resulted in the death of the employee is still under investigation. It is unclear how or why the employee was able to be in a dangerous position. However, OSHA is on the case, and a full inquiry will be made.

Employees at the Palermo’s pizza plant were sent home following the incident. They couldn’t be expected to finish the day’s work after such a horrific incident.

Saddened And Shocked

Company speaks out: Fellow employees of the pizza manufacturing plant were shocked to hear of the death of their colleague in the machine. The company itself is devastated that they have such a tragedy on its hands. There have been numerous press releases about the situation.

  • A statement released by Palermo’s Pizza commented on the accident. “The tragic accident that took an employee’s life earlier today is a terrible incident that is being fully investigated. We are cooperating with government officials and gathering facts. Palermo’s will be supporting the employee’s family and next of kin. We will also be offering counseling and support services to the Palermo’s team during this difficult time.”

The incident will require a full investigation, and the pizza plant will need to be cleaned and sanitized. However, it will no doubt open back up before you know it because nothing stands in the way of pizza progress.

  • A workers’ union that would usually represent the pizza plant employees has spoken out about the incident. “A fundamental principle of our union movement has always been that an injury to one is an injury to all. While employees at the Palermo facility are not currently organized in a union, we nonetheless share the pain of a fellow worker losing their life on the job.”.
