Hey, they don’t call her Dr. Pimple Popper for nothing.

Anyway, an Alabama man named James came to Lee with what were described as unexplained growths on his abdomen and lower leg. The abdomen bumps were likely from surgery when he was hit with a baseball. He was 8-years old at the time. He’s 40 now.

But those bumps now weigh about FIVE pounds. And those are just the ones on his stomach.

It gets worse. Beginning in 2016, James started to develop a growth on his right leg. It at first appeared to be a pimple. Now it weighs no less than SIX pounds. It looks sort of resembles a brain. He also noticed a growth on his right leg about two or three years ago.

James has had every test imaginable and seen a multitude of physicians. It’s resulted in nothing but frustration — and more pain.

But after seeing Lee, it seems like James and his wife finally have some answers.

Okay, so what is it?

Per Meaww.com:

“His biopsy findings reveal that James has chronic lymphedema, most likely caused by his injuries, and the growths are how she first suspected Elephantiasis Nostras Verruciformis, a side effect of lymphatic damage.

“James has chronic lymphedema, which is a buildup of lymph fluid in the body caused by his injuries and subsequent surgery, which may have produced scar tissue and obstruction of some type. That’s why it happened so near to the Super Pubic Area, yet as one backs off, they can notice his entire body is bulking up even further.”

On the downside, Lee said she herself can’t help James with the issue. But she does know people who can, who she clearly trusts and is happy to recommend.

So this sounds like the start to the end of a massive annoyance for James. And in that sense, it can only be a good thing.

What do you think?

  1. I would like to know how he is doing and if he found anyone to assist him in his journey. I have the same thing but it never got to that point and it is hard to find someone who treats it.
