Pelosi told reporters as much on Wednesday following a busy day in the House of Representatives regarding Obamacare, the result of appearances from President Obama and Vice President-elect Mike Pence to meet with their respective party members: “Republicans say ‘repeal and replace.’ The only thing that has going for it is alliteration.”

Pelosi criticized Republicans for not having a replacement plan in place, saying that they “can’t agree” and “don’t have the votes for a replacement plan.”

“Our first order of business will be to repeal and replace ObamaCare,” Pence told reporters following his meeting.

Pence informed that actions on Obamacare would take place on “day one,” but was not forthcoming with details. Because of this, various Republicans are warning their colleagues to provide more details about the repeal and steps following in order to ensure a smooth transition. Other Republicans have advised their colleagues to repeal and replace Obamacare at the same time.

At a different point in the interview, Pelosi accused Republicans of wanting to “Make America Sick Again.”
