Dominyk Antonio Alfonseca isn’t very bright.

Pro tip: If you’re going to rob a bank, don’t post about it on Instagram. Also, don’t say you didn’t steal because they handed you the money. Also, don’t say “IÂ videotaped it. If it was a robbery, I don’t think I would videotape it” if you actually committed a robbery.
Alfonseca posted videos on Instagram of him handing a bank teller a note demanding money and the teller stuffing a bag with cash for him, the New York Daily News writes. The robbery took place at a TowneBank in Virginia Beach Monday.
He’s convinced that he didn’t actually steal the money because the teller handed it to him for acting like a nice guy. “I’m basically asking permission for money. In my eyes, I did not commit a robbery, and I feel I’m being charged without reason,” he told WAVY-TV.
Here’s the “friendly” note Alfonseca handed the teller.

It only took police 20 minutes to catch up to the 23-year-old.
Then there’s the video of the cash being stuffed in a bag for him.

“I posted the video on my Instagram. I videotaped it. If it was a robbery, I don’t think I would videotape it, post the picture of the letter and do that all to come to jail,” Alfonseca added.
The rest of Alfonseca’s Instagram is rife with incoherent rambling and weird videos like the one below.
