Justin Bieber doesn’t seem like the type to headbutt strangers, but police are investigating a report that says otherwise

Did he or didn’t he? Los Angeles police are now investigating whether Justin Bieber headbutted someone at a Grammy Awards party at Serafina, an Italian restaurant in Hollywood.

The party was thrown by Poo Bear, one of Bieber’s songwriters and frequent collaborators.

Witnesses told TMZ that Justin Bieber was play-fighting with Kyle Massey of “That’s So Raven!” fame when he noticed a restaurant employee recording them. He asked them to delete the video, and when they resisted and others began recording, Bieber leaped toward the staffer to get the phone in question.

Allegedly, another restaurant employee called police and reported Bieber headbutted the staffer who’d been recording the incident. Though they don’t want to press charges, police are pressing on with a misdemeanor battery investigation.

Serafina contests this account, however. They say the person Bieber headbutted was not an employee of theirs. When reached for comment by TMZ, Serafina told them they “always have a pleasant experience with Mr. Bieber whenever he comes to Serafina,” and that no one on staff called 911.
