Jim Gaffigan has released five stand-up specials, and he has dipped his toes into the movie industry. On Friday night, he stopped by “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and talked about his future in the television industry and his stand-up specials. Gaffigan is mainly a food comic in that his best bits are about food and his love of it.

Gaffigan talked about his family and revealed that he has five children, which he said, “is just too many.” The comedian joked that when the group goes out in public “they’re less of a family and more of a mob.”
Colbert couldn’t keep from laughing when Gaffigan said on one occasion when his family went into a restaurant, he thought he saw a waitress quit her job. Gaffigan’s stand-up special “Cinco” will appear on Netflix later this year.
