It appears that everything turned out OK, as the man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, per the NYPD. Honestly, what a scary situation to be in. Especially if you’re the one who’s doing the saving. These cops probably weren’t even thinking about themselves, they just wanted to save this man’s life. The adrenaline that day must have been so high!
Can you imagine being in that situation? Just a regular human being, not a cop, seeing someone on the tracks! What do you do? Would you leap in and help as a decent human would? Or would you run? It’s honestly a serious question, not a lot of people would do what these heroes did. Goes to show you that there is still good in humanity.
