It’s coming up on the 19th year of Busch Light Hunting Cans, and to celebrate, they want to give a whole load away. The competition will run from September 29 to October 13, open to anyone over the age of 21. The rules are simple, but they’re pretty wild.
Bring Back Hunter: Busch Light has noted that the name Hunter has dropped somewhat in popularity. According to their research, the name has plummeted by 93% in the past five years. In an effort to save the name, they are encouraging people to take it up.
- It’s coming up to the 19th year of Busch Light’s release of their Hunter Cans. The well-decorated and camouflaged beer cans are a favorite of hunters in the sporting sense. But the company hopes to link them to the name, also.
- In an effort to bring back the name, Busch Light is giving people the chance to win 19 years of beer if they change their name to Hunter. The process will need to be legally binding, but Busch has offered to cover the costs.
Hunter for Hunter
The competition for 19 years’ worth of Busch Beer is simple, provided you’re willing to make the change. To enter the competition, three rules must be followed.
- Follow Busch Light on X, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Comment on specific posts that they will legally change their name to Hunter on valid posts using hashtags #BecomeAHunter and #Sweepstake.
- Be over the age of 21.
The Prize: Busch will then give one lucky winner a $5,500 prepaid card, which may be used to purchase one 30-pack of Busch Light a month for the next 19 years. They will also cover the costs of the name change to Hunter.
