This unique beauty from “The Voice” made an interesting song choice, and it totally paid off YouTube/The Voice

For Knockout round 2 this week, Team Pharrell challenged Moushumi to take on Nick Hagelin in the ring.

Her song choice was unlike anything we have heard this season, but it totally worked for her. Moushumi sang a gorgeous rendition of “New Americana,” by Halsey.

The song and her singing impressed coach Pharrell Williams, and he decided to keep her for another week. He is still impressed by how different she is from other artists and continued to praise her performance this week.

Unfortunately, that meant that Hagelin was sent home. His rendition of Robin Thicke’s “Lost Without You” was no match for Moushumi.
