By now we all know that Carrie Underwood is one of the hottest female stars, not just in country music, but in the world of entertainment. We know she’s not just vegetarian, but vegan. But in a recent round of “Never Have I Ever” with fashion and beauty publication “InStyle,” Carrie revealed some secrets about herself and some unusual beauty tips that we hadn’t heard before. And while some are surprising, others are downright hilarious!

The talented and gorgeous singer-songwriter admitted that she had attempted to shop incognito around the holidays so she could pick up some Christmas presents. She also talked about her makeup strategy before she goes under the harsh lights of her live show. “I’m good at putting a lot of makeup on my face,” she laughs.

To our surprise though, Carrie, who always looks like a million bucks, occasionally cuts her own hair. She explains, “It’s like, you cut a little over here and it’s like, ‘now I gotta cut a little on this side. Oops, too much! Now I gotta do this side.’ And it’s this never-ending cycle of badness.”

But what came as an even bigger surprise is when Carrie revealed a beauty secret about… her husband.
“He’s gonna kill me,” she began. “He plays hockey and sometimes he gets bruises or cuts on his face and stuff like that. And if we have a red carpet I’ll be like, ‘Can I just take care of that?’ So, I’ve actually put makeup on him.”
We seriously doubt he minds, especially if it’s followed by Carrie leaving a little of her lipstick on his pucker.
