That’s certainly what it sounds like to us.

In a few quotes released from Garth’s camp, the superstar reveals that he’s filming his shows in Las Vegas for an upcoming concert special. He’s also bringing cameras along for his two shows at Yankee Stadium in New York City on July 8 and 9.

Whether that’s going to air on a TV network, be shown in a movie theater or be released on DVD, we can’t say just yet. We can tell you that Garth is having to make some changes to his concerts in order to get these tapings just right.

Since he’s a master showman, Garth loves changing things up and riding the energy of the crowd during his shows. That means he doesn’t like being chained to a set order of songs during his concerts. Unfortunately, Garth has to let the crew know what he’s doing since they’re filming his every move during these shows.

Garth explains, “That breaks my heart, because I love going out with no rules and whatever… and whatever comes, comes. So my job now is to make this train that’s the same every night somehow different. And I enjoy that challenge.”

Lucky for Garth, he only works with the best of the best on the road, so he knows they’ll be able to handle whatever he may throw at them. Whatever happens, Garth knows his crowds will be firing on all cylinders at the shows in Sin City and The Big Apple

“Hopefully we’ll capture that on film,” Garth says.
