It doesn’t get much more country than this new Jason Aldean single and video, “Any Ol’ Barstool.”
The song is a cleverly written tale of a guy who’s trying to deny how hurt he is over a breakup, and the video’s story plays out right along with the sad lyrics. There’s a bartender leading the party and taking shots with his patrons. He’s also getting into fights and tearing up the bar when the pain gets to be too much.
In the other scenes, you see his ex-girlfriend at home getting texts from her friends about his downhill slide.

Jason says of the “Any Ol’ Barstool” video, “This is one of those classic country heartache songs where the guy is trying to convince his girl that he is fine, but in reality he’s not. So, I wanted the video to relay that classic heartache scenario we’ve all been in, but with a little twist.”
Jason debuted the “Any Ol’ Barstool” video at EW.com. It’s the latest single from his current album, “The Don’t Know,” available now.
