Montgomery Gentry Salutes Military with This Patriotic Country Anthem

Montgomery Gentry has experienced their share of personal and professional struggles. They have changed record labels and have had songs that should have been hits and wondered if there was room in the current country landscape for their music.

Yet, one thing has never changed…and that is their love of their country, their love for their military and their determination to stay true to their roots and ideals.

In their brand new single “Folks Like Us,” Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry show us once again that there is nothing quite as endearing as a good ole working class anthem.  Sounding as authentic as any so-called country artist out there right now, the Kentucky natives show off their love of life and God while also showing off just what might lie ahead upon the release of their eighth studio album later this year.

With enough fan support, the song is good enough to get Montgomery Gentry back to the top of the charts, joining their previous five number one singles If You Ever Stop Loving Me,” “Something To Be Proud Of,” “Lucky Man,” “Back When I Knew It All” and “Roll With Me”.

Just recently celebrating their fifth anniversary as members of the Grand Ole Opry, the two will celebrate another career milestone on April 10, as they are inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame.
