This might be one of the coolest country collaborations for a holiday song we’ve ever heard

With the holiday season  in full swing, we could use some good ole cheer. And no one can provide that cheer quite like Kenny Rogers and famed a cappella group Home Free.

Trust us.

The amazingly talented group has a video of “Christmas, Go Where I Send Thee,” a song featured on Rogers’ Christmas album “Once Again It’s Christmas.”

And yes, they all sound better than ever.

“What an honor to share the microphone with Kenny Rogers,” Home Free’s bass Tim Foust said. “Apart from having one of the most iconic voices of all time, Kenny is an absolute class act. Our producer, Darren Rust, crafted a brilliant arrangement of ‘Children, Go Where I Send Thee’ and the result is something special.”

Special, too, was the crazy way the group’s collaboration with Rogers came about.

“My son’s choir director at school told me I needed to check Home Free out so I went home and Googled them and saw them sing ‘Ring Of Fire,’” Rogers added. “They were incredible, and I thought, ‘I must do something with them. They were just perfect on ‘Children, Go Where I Send Thee,’ and we had a great time in the studio and filming the video together.  They were so nice to work with musically and exceptionally well driven. It really speaks volumes for their talent and professionalism. I’m so happy we were able to collaborate on this song.”
