A young Arkansas mom is dead and thanks to her chilling snapchats police think they know who did it

Family and friends are mourning the loss of a young Arkansas mother whose suspicious death has police turning to social media for clues. 21-year-old Stephanie Hernandez, mother of two small daughters, was found shot to death in her Little Rock home, Sunday. Earlier, she had posted selfies on Snapchat of herself with her boyfriend, Rafael Gonzalez, in the background pointing a gun towards her. She captioned one of the images “Strap Chat,” playing on the slang for carrying a gun.

Police have since arrested Gonzalez and charged him with first-degree murder. So far, it’s not clear what prompted the shooting.

Hernandez’s daughters were not home the night of the shooting. Her family says Hernandez was due to start a new job Monday. They’ve set up a GoFundMe for her funeral.
