Nobody Asked For It, But Apparently, Pumpkin Spice Ramen is Coming Back This Fall

Okay I’ll admit it, I love everything pumpkin flavored. I always get excited when Fall comes around because I know that there will be so many pumpkin spice items that I can buy. You have pumpkin Starbucks drinks, Oreos, bread, you name it. But, Ramen? I would have never seen pumpkin Ramen coming from a mile away.

According to Cup Noodles, which makes Nissin Foods,  they decided to launch the product in celebration of a big milestone for of the company. “After 50 years of noodle innovation, what better time to release our most unexpected flavor to date with pumpkin spice, and trust me it really is that good,” Jaclyn Park, vice president of marketing for Nissin Foods USA, stated.

I honestly have never heard of this in the first place,  might I add. But apparently, there are people so obsessed with pumpkin spice that they really want to put it on everything. So, continuing with the seasonal craze, Cup Noodles decided to put in their two cents this year (again) and create a Cup Noodle Pumpkin Spice. Because why not?

Everything You Need To Know About Nissin Pumpkin Spice Cup Noodles

“Product innovation is at the core of the Cup Noodles brand, and we are excited to launch our first-ever limited-edition flavor that is sure to cause a stir. You just have to try it!”

When will it be available? Well, they won’t hit the stores until October and they will be exclusively sold at Walmart. Once again, of course, they are.  As far as a flavor, well Cup Noodles stated that it’s unlike their standard cup. Apparently, the fall-inspired Ramen is saucy, not soup based.

It is “made with a special pumpkin seasoning that’s the perfect blend of sweet, savory and spiced, these saucy noodles are ready with just a splash of water and four minutes in the microwave.” But not only that, oh no. They went on to note that, “for the full pumpkin spice experience, top it with whipped cream.”

BARF. Yeah, no, nope, negative. That’s a big no for me.

Of course, they aren’t the only company that decided to come up with gross pumpkins products, remember the Pumpkin Spice Spam in 2019 and the Kraft Pumpkin Spice Mac & Cheese in 2020? But still, this should just be legal, nobody wants a pumpkin-flavored noodle soaking and brothy water.

When will it end?

What do you think?
