How much? Well, how about 12-hour days, seven days a week?

At least, that is how CNBC has broken it down, as Musk looks to implement his strategies after purchasing the platform for a cool $44 billion.

All of it is part of Musk’s overhaul of the app, which already included the firing of the CEO and other high-ranking officials. Some people will tell you all of this isn’t such a bad thing — that Twitter has been in considerable need of a facelift.

Anyway, per CNBC, while employees are working 84-hour weeks, it is believed they are doing so on a tryout basis. Musk apparently has strict deadlines on implementing the new policies, which will include charging $8 a month for the blue verification badge.

This is clearly the new Twitter’s way of seeing who is a team player.

And those who aren’t sure at least earn one last hefty paycheck, no?

Either way, some staff members are fearing for their jobs and aren’t sure if they even want to work there anymore, per CNBC.

Musk also has asked managers to offer lists of employees who are working hard to meet his new demanding deadlines. We can safely assume those who don’t will be cast aside.

So, it’s a case of on your marks, set, go. Soon, Twitter will have a new feel, Musk has promised. And now we know how it will go about it.

“At Twitter, Musk is counting on his lieutenants and loyalists to decide who and what to cut or keep at the social network,” CNBC wrote.
