This 92-Year-Old Navy WWII Vet Brought the House Down With Awesome First Pitch

A 92-year-old World War II veteran got to throw out the first pitch at a Seattle Mariners – San Diego Padres game on Memorial Day. And boy, did he impress the crowd.

Burke Waldron, who began his military career in 1943, ran — yes, ran — onto the diamond with the pep of someone half his age.

Looking dapper in his uniform, the lefty Navy veteran tossed out the first pitch with ease.

The Mariners beat the Padres 9-3. Waldron walked away the real winner.
