Well, it looks like things are well on their way back to normal for the Spears family.
As music fans will recall, Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter Maddie was in a serious ATV accident on Feb. 5, leaving her in intensive care and in need of prayers. There were a number of moments during those first hours of recovery where family and friends were obviously concerned if Maddie would find her way to a full recovery, as family members shared updates on their various social channels.
While it sounds as if she still has a little way to go, things are looking up for Maddie, who was able to attend a Valentine’s Day party at her school on Feb. 14.

“Maddie isn’t quite ready to return to school, but her doctors did clear her to bring in her Valentine’s Day treats to her class today,” Jamie Lynn captioned a picture of Maddie looking healthy and happy on her Instagram page. “Thanks to @avery and @hersheycompany for making these treats for her to pass out, since I didn’t have the time to make any myself this year. It made her so happy to see her friends, and be able to give them such cute treats. It was a great moment for us after everything that has happened. We are so thankful to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the ones we love, and we don’t take a second of it for granted Happy Valentine’s Day.”
