A crazed man with a pocket knife tried to take on the rest of a Walmart in Columbia, S.C., and Walmart won.

Employees and customers told police the man had been brandishing the knife and making threats in the self-checkout area. A video revealed that those reports were accurate.
So another customer, Demario Davis, picked up what looked to be a metal object used for displays, then bashed the suspect on the back of the head. Like a true Walmart hero, give him $100 and call it a day! That brought an end to things, with other customers surrounding the suspect and police eventually arriving.
Walmart Gets a New Hero
Davis told WIS News he was able to keep the man down until police showed up.
“My first instinct was to neutralize the situation so I just casually walked over and waited until I had an opportunity to get him and I got em I guess,” Davis said. “I’m a community person, so if I see something in the community that’s not right, with all the violence and things and attacks going on, gun violence you know, you want your people in the community to step up as well. The cops can’t do it all by themselves.”
No charges have been filed and the suspect was taken to the hospital for evaluation, WIS reported. Is it me or are these Walmart fights getting out of hand? What’s up with people getting rowdy…well, extra rowdy at Walmart these days? I guess that’s what makes it exciting, you just never know what you’re gonna encounter on a good day.
