Love knows no bounds, especially if the guy you’re leaving your fiance for is rich.

But hey, British woman Amanda Cannon, 30, said that’s not the reason she called off her wedding with her college sweetheart to pair up with Ace, 54, her current husband who she met in 2017.

They met back in 2017, and Amanda said there is no looking back. And no, her husband is not “rich,” beyond having Amanda as his wife, of course. Instead, Ace is a radio DJ, a normal guy living on normal wages — and lots of love.

“Love is love, you can love someone much older or younger. Maybe our souls met in a different time,” Amanda told Wales Online. “I knew who he was, and I walked up to the bar and introduced myself. We traded numbers and we hit it off, we were instantly attracted to each other.”

Ace had been married before and lost his daughter in a tragic car wreck. She was just 21-years old at the time.

He indicated Amanda sort of rescued him from his loneliness.

“I had been divorced a while, I was living alone in this apartment. I was sitting on my own eating fish tacos, and she came over and introduced herself,” he said. “

“I was obviously instantly attracted to her beauty, but I knew there was a big age difference. I never in my wildest dreams thought that someone that beautiful would be interested in me.”

Amanda called off her wedding in 2017. At first, she and Ace seemed to be little more than a summer fling. But then summer ended and they couldn’t have imagined it coming to an end, they said.

“In my last relationship, I was not myself, I constantly felt defeated and drained. I called the wedding off because in my gut I knew I had to,” Amanda said.

“When you date an older guy — almost 50 — him saying he had a girlfriend was an odd thing so we would say we were each other’s significant other.”

In fact, people often mistake them as a father-daughter duo, but they just laugh it off. Ace, by the way, is the same age as Amanda’s mother.

“Amanda was just seven years older than my daughter. Our differences became more fun than anything else — she would educate me on things I didn’t know,” Ace said.

“One time we went to a baseball game, and someone wanted a photo with me. It was listener of my radio show and she said, ‘oh my god is that Payton?’ — my daughter — she was so embarrassed when I told her it was my date. Her partner reached out and gave me a fist bump.”

And now, the couple is expecting.

“I learned a lot about Ace’s daughter dying, life is short, and it’s not promised to anyone,” Amanda said. “As long as you’re happy and no one is being harmed, it’s OK to live your life.

“Always listen to your gut, you don’t want to get to 90 years old and look back at your life thinking what-if.”

  1. How is this vapid, poorly written fluff in any way newsworthy? I suggest this website hire some actual writers and editors who understand what journalism is. The useless crap you’re currently publishing is embarrassing.
