The daughter of famed crocodile hunter Steve Irwin continues to honor her fathers legacy of loving and caring for animals. This week, Bindi Irwin shared videos and pictures of herself surrounded by the most important people in her life at the Australia Zoo.
On Thursday, Bindi took to Instagram with boyfriend Chandler Powell, who is staying with her in Australia, to share a story about flatback turtle Candy.

🐢❤️🙏🏼 @ChandlerPowell and I are joined by gorgeous little Candy, a flatback turtle in care at the #AustraliaZoo Wildlife Hospital. Flatback turtles are extremely vulnerable and our dedicated Wildlife Hospital team is ensuring Candy is well enough to be released back into the wild, which is of utmost importance. Candy is still very young and we all love her so much. By the way – who watched that hilarious bird fly through shot?! Too funny! Hugs from here @AustraliaZoo x
Candy has been staying at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital until she is able to return to the wild.
Bindi also posted a sweet picture of her mother and brother on Friday.
All three were holding animals with the added caption “Family. Always.”
We can always count on Bindi to remind us just how important family, love, and our environments are.
