In an upcoming interview on “The Dr. Phil Show,” the actress claims that an ex is trying to ruin her life in what she is calling a “complete emotional breakdown.”

“It was a crime. It is a serious crime to tape people without their knowledge like that and I had made the mistake of putting myself in the situation with the person so I just removed myself as quickly as I could, and then it just continued to be complete emotional abuse after that for the last several, several months,” she told Dr. Phil McGraw.
In a preview obtained by TMZ, Barton reveals how she learned her ex was trying to sell her sex tape.
“Somebody came up to me on the street… and said there’s something I need to tell you and I didn’t believe it at first, I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “Because I had loved this person and I didn’t think it was possible.”
Barton also addressed the bizarre behavior she exhibited in a January 2017 incident.
“Were you seeing something? Or was it an auditory hallucination, a visual hallucination?” Dr. Phil asked
“Before I black out and don’t remember anything, it was both auditory and visual, but more visual,” she explained. “There’s also blackout parts, like, earlier in the night. And then I’ll remember, like, my friend saying, ‘Please lay down,’ and then it’ll be gone again. And then the whole part, like, outside is just blackout.”
