World, meet Bernie. He’s a 71-year-old New York native living in Florida, and he’s live-streaming an ongoing performance from the comfort of his own home, to yours.

Bernie, a.k.a. pianoimproman, is a professional pianist, singer and composer. He plays on a 1957 Steinway Grand.

The chat for the live stream (see below) allows users everywhere send in requests for Bernie to riff and improvise off of. It is run by his “darling wife” Mindy and his son, Max. As of 11:30 a.m. EST, Bernie said he had been playing this particular stream for 11-and-a-half hours. That means he started at around midnight Wednesday night.
