Surprise! Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson got married for a third time on New Year’s Eve

The third time is a charm for Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson.

According to E! News, the Olympic swimmer and his new wife celebrated their love for the third time on New Year’s Eve with family and friends.

Sources close to the couple say they planned a fabulous New Year’s Eve party to ring in the new year and honor their recent wedding.

Before capturing our hearts in Rio, Phelps and Johnson reportedly tied the night in a small civil ceremony in Arizona. The couple kept things under wraps until their marriage license was discovered by TMZ. They celebrated their love for a second time in a destination ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in October 2016.

To ring in the New Year, Phelps and Johnson threw family and friends a fun 1920s-themed bash.
