The two started off their segment by talking about the recent admission from the FBI, White House and CIA that the Russian government influenced the United States election.

According to Che, it made sense that Trump wouldn’t want to admit that something bad had happened for his gain.

“Who snitches when somebody cheats for them? That’s just ungrateful!”

In regards to Trump’s refusal to acknowledge the evidence of hacking, Jost compared the president-elect to former President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

“It’s like if right after Pearl Harbor, FDR had said, ‘We don’t know it was Japan, it could have just been some fat guy on a couch somewhere,'” Jost joked.

The two went after Trump for most of the segment, which included a joke about Trump’s meeting with rapper Kanye West.

According to Jost, Trump could nominate West to be his “Secretary of Humbleness.”

They later compared Kanye meeting Trump to when Scooby-Doo met the Harlem Globetrotters.

“How would that even help? What would that do?”
