Rascal Flatts got an unexpected visit from the most adorable little guitar tech ever

Over the course of their career, Rascal Flatts have seen some wild things from their vantage point up on stage. Yet, it’s what they encountered from the side of the stage recently that had the country trio in hysterics.

During one of their final shows of their Vegas residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus reached a point of the show where he was to change guitars. Yet, when he looked to the side of the stage, little did he know that his son Dylan would be there with a guitar himself. The adorable little tyke even stayed out on stage to pick a little, standing beside his proud father.

It was a great way to end another successful Vegas run.

Nominated for ACM Vocal Group Of The Year nominee, they are now ready to embark on their headlining Rascal Flatts’ Rhythm and Roots Tour this summer, currently kicking off in North Carolina on June 17. The trio will be joined by openers Kelsea Ballerini and newcomer Chris Lane.

“It’s really important to us that each year our shows are fresh and exciting for our fans,” said Jay DeMarcus in a recent press release. “We put a lot of thought into how to do that this year and mixing it up in Vegas was really fun, so we decided to continue with this new change of pace out on the road this summer.”
