A heartfelt tributes has been paid to a Royal Marine commando and dad-of-two who has died “suddenly” at the age of 36. Christopher Wood, who was affectionately known as ‘Woody’ to those who knew him, died on February 12.
A memorial service for him is due to take place at Kirkleatham Memorial Park, near Redcar, in North Yorkshire, on Wednesday, March 8. An emotional tribute in memory of Christopher has been posted recently in the funeral notices

Why do so many healthy young people continue to die so suddenly around the world? In the case of Wood, he was a healthy man who served in one of the most physically demanding positions in the British Military.
He leaves behind two young children, a trend that I am noticing amongst each of these stories as they are released.
We are losing husbands, fathers, daughters, and mothers to sudden deaths. Not isolated to one country, or race, or community, but around the world.
A LinkedIn page that reportedly belongs to Wood says that enlisted in March of 2017 at 30 years old. He had just passed his 6th year of service.
May he rest in peace, and may we discover the cause of this rash of sudden deaths.
