The Details: The man, who remains unidentified, began his story with some brief background knowledge. He shared that he was 29 years old and lost his older brother three years ago due to a motorcycle accident. Naturally, the loss of his brother still haunts him today. However, something now haunts him even more.
- The Reddit post shared that the man and his brother were “best friends” and “inseparable,” so the loss of his brother messed him up severely, and still haunts him to this day.
- The man’s fiancée, whom he referred to as Bella in the post, had only met his brother a few times. However, she claimed she always admired the bond that the two brothers shared.
- One day, Bella returns home with a tattoo of her brother’s face plastered on her arm.
A Bizarre Situation
Naturally, the man was shocked when his fiancée came home one night with a giant tattoo of his brother plastered across her arm. He shared details of the tattoo in his post.
- “It’s this pretty f*ing big,” he stated, “realistic gray scale tattoo of his face with a little Snoopy icon beside it on her upper arm, with his nickname we use, and his birth AND death dates underneath.”
At first, he didn’t know how to respond. Especially after Bella explained that her actions were “a tribute” to his brother and in support of her fiancé during his time of grieving. Despite her supposed good intentions, the action did not sit well with the man. Eventually, he chose to confront her about it and politely explained his reasoning for being uncomfortable.

Is He In The Wrong: Although he claims he attempted to be gentle with his complaints, Bella took them to heart. His fiancée claims that getting the tattoo of his brother was a kind gesture and that he was being weird about the whole ordeal. Furthermore, he claims that since their conversation, she has been distant and has been wearing long-sleeve shirts.
His mother told him he should just be thankful and move on, yet the internet disagrees. The majority of comments left on his post agree that the man has every right to be bothered by this insane situation.
