That’s right, according to AllHipHop, the disgraced singer is now engaged to Joycelyn Savage — who wrote a letter to a judge a pleading for leniency ahead of Kelly’s sentencing. In the letter, she identified herself as his fiancee.

Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison back on June 29, after being convicted of racketeering and sex-trafficking. Savage is an alleged sex slave and her parents say she has been “brainwashed” by Kelly, per Bossip.com.
“Savage attempted to portray the incarcerated artist in a positive light. She claimed she’s ‘not the victim’ the government portrayed her to be in a letter to Judge Ann Donnelly.”
In the letter obtained by the website, Savage wrote: “My relationship with Robert is amazing. He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. We have a very special connection and are deeply in love. I still support Robert to this day because I love him and will always be here to support him.
“… Robert is not the monster that the government has described him to be. The Robert I know is very sweet, gentle, and kind. At the end of the day, he has always made sure that I’m taken care of, and any other women he was with as well.”
Of course, this may not be the end of the bad news for Kelly. He is awaiting another trial for child pornography charges in August. He already will be in prison until he’s 85. So if Savage really sticks to this idea of marrying him, she may have to wait a while.
