Cannon appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Monday and talked openly about Carey’s disastrous performance on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”
“I’m a conspiracy theorist. I think the government did that. They set her up,” he joked. “Anyone who knows about performing and having inner ears, things can go wrong.”
“I think she got a little flustered but being the diva that she is, she probably said, ‘I’m just going to walk around and pose for seven minutes,'” he said. “It’s like Ryan Seacrest said, ‘she can do no wrong.'”
Cannon was also hospitalized during the holidays after suffering some complications due to Lupus. He clarified that he had “medication issues.”
“I just had too much medicine going on,” he said. “I don’t want to want to get too much into it, but 70 percent of the blood ended up going to one of my arms, because I was on these blood things. I had to get like five blood transfusions.”
He revealed that he’s now taking care of himself in a holistic and a homeopathic way. He’s even been dabbling in mediation.

Cannon is a self-proclaimed “big kid at heart” and even keeps a ball pit and candy shop in his home at all times.
“I’m a candy lover. I probably love candy more than my kids do, so that candy shop is probably more for me,” he said. “Next Christmas, I am going to be at the dentist!”
