The hilarious homeschooled pastor’s kid from Georgia turned Christian comedian John Crist gets by with something in this video that not just anyone could get by with. While he may appear to be a tad sacrilegious with his humor, he’s really highlighting something many Christian young people are doing these days — focusing more on social media than they probably should be.

“Are you a Christian girl that loves taking photos of her devotions?” Crist asks in a faux infomercial for a fake book he’s written called “Christian Girls of Instagram: 101 tips and tricks on how to get more likes on your devotional photos.” He goes on to point out, using humor of course, how girls will often spend far more time staging a photo than actually reading their Bible.
It’s all in fun, but boy, does the humor hit a little close to home, or what?
