According to Gayle King, Oprah Winfrey won’t be running for president after all.

Earlier this week, Winfrey got fans’ hope up when she hinted that at the possibility she might consider running for president after America elected former reality TV star and businessman Donald Trump to the office.

“I thought, ‘Oh gee. I don’t have the experience. I don’t know enough,’” she said on “The David Rubenstein Show.” “And now I’m thinking, ‘Oh.’”

King, on the other hand, had a different idea.

“I was in the audience that day, and it was clearly a joke when she was playing with David, because they have such a great rapport,” she said. “But I also heard on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ over the years, you always have the right to change your mind, but I would bet my first-, second-born and any unborn children to come, that ain’t never happening.”

We can dream!
