The Corleone house — which is located in Staten Island, not Long Island, per the classic film — was available for the month of August, according to HouseBeautiful.com.

Inside the Corleone Mansion

The website notes that the mansion isn’t fortified with a high wall, another disparity between real life and the movie. The filmmakers reportedly built the wall out of plastic on set.

It also says the renovated Godfather house, built in 1930, now features five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a saltwater pool, a pub, a game room, and a gym. The entire property encompasses 6,248 square feet, according to HouseBeautiful.com.

The kitchen is fully modernized with stainless steel appliances, according to the report.

HouseBeautiful.com stipulated that the mansion, while listed for a mere $50 a night, was only available for a long-term, 30-night stay during the summer. The booking period is currently closed, according to Airbnb.

The listing says the mansion is a family home located in a quiet neighborhood. It’s also well-maintained, with house cleaners coming once a week, pool cleaners twice a week, and landscapers once a week on site.

“Please note, you will have limited access to closets in the basement and the attic,” the listing says.

But for only $50 a night? The place where The Godfather takes place? To recycle a joke from HouseBeautiful.com, that’s an offer we can’t refuse.

In related news, Diane Keaton recently revealed “no one” initially wanted Al Pacino to play the main role.

The Internet is also chattering about Jack Nicholson coming close to clinching the role of Michael Corleone.

Fortunately for Pacino, Nicholson didn’t get the part.

Pacino earned an Academy Award nomination for best supporting actor for playing Corleone in the first Godfather film. Additionally, he nabbed an Academy Award nom for best actor for The Godfather Part II.
