Sources have revealed that Amy Robach has reportedly left ABC News with a way better deal than her lover T.J. Holmes. According to Page Six, inside stated that the pair “each got a nice severance package” from ABC, but Robach was the one who walked away with “an even bigger settlement” than Holmes.

Details of their settlement “remain a closely guarded secret,” but other insiders stated, “Amy’s been at ABC a lot longer and has a much bigger contract than T.J.”

Robach, who co-hosted GMA3 as well as appeared on 20/20 joined the company in 2012 before Holmes started back in 2014. A second source revealed that the couple, whose romance leaked in November, “just got paid what they would have been owed to the remainder of their contracts and little, if anything, more.”

However, they went on to add, “It’s possible they could have gotten paid slightly more to sign an NDA and to keep the peace.”

The anchors are said to be back in New York, laying low, but are satisfied with what they were paid. The source comments come after ABC News had confirmed that they were leaving amid weeks of discussion and speculation about their relationship.

“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions,” a spokesperson noted.

The couple had been pulled off air while several bosses investigated their romance. Back in  December, it was revealed that Holmes had filed for divorce from his wife, Marilee Fiebig, after 12 years of marriage. Robach tied the knot with Andrew Shue in 2010 and reportedly split last year.

  1. ABC should never interfere with peoples lives as long as they do their jobs.. Amy and T.J. were great together , they attracted pleasant audience due to their pleasant personalities … They kept their relationship as a co- anchor because they genuinely like each other… We the audience need to see that to enjoy what they offered, News, on the spot views of current events and ideas of where to go and what to do… There was nothing “phony” about them, and that kind of attitudes are related and conveyed to us the Audience… There’s nothing more annoying when there’s animosity or cold reaction as you watch T.V. No-one can fool the Cameras, it catches everything that can never be mistook as niceness… It’s a shame that ABC only thought about Puritanical ideas in their Employees instead of the Talents they might lose, and this time they have Lost 2 very able and talented personalities… Your lose certainly….!!🙄

    • Furthermore ABC had made Amy and T.J.’s relationship “dirty” by insinuating that they were “cheating” to be together… That by itself is very unfair to both sides… ABC made it Scandalous to fall in love… It’s rude, that Bigotry comes to mind… Due to the fact that Amy is white and T.J. is black … So what ??!!!😲
