The death toll in the Covenant School shooting in Nashville, Tennessee this morning has risen to 7 as authorities continue to reveal more information about the event.

Reports from hours ago reveal that at least three children died, and three adults. The shooter, who has been revealed to be a teenage girl, also died while engaging local authorities.

Police and firefighter/paramedics from Nashville, Tennessee responded before 10:13 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2023 to a report of a mass shooting at Covenant School at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 33 Burton Hills Blvd in Nashville.
According to the Metro Nashville PD, the shooter was engaged by MNPD, and is dead. A female shooter was engaged by police and she was shot and killed. The female appears to be in her teens, and she was armed with two rifles and a handgun.
She entered the school through a side entrance and went from the first floor to the second floor, firing shots.
The shooter was deceased by 10:27 a.m. when she was shot by police.
Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, also known as Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, confirmed that three children were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds were pronounced dead. Initially the number of victims wounded was not available

A school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee this morning left at least three dead. The shooting occurred at Covenant School, Covenant Presbyterian Church, on Burton Hills Dr in Nashville.
The school reportedly only teaches children from grades pre-kindergarten to 6th grade, meaning that the victims may be very young in age. There are only 200 students in total at the school
