NBA free agent guard Bryn Forbes was arrested in San Antonio early Wednesday on a misdemeanor family violence charge, as relayed by KSAT.

Forbes, 29, had been playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season, until last week, when he was released to create a roster spot for incoming trade acquisitions. He has also played for the San Antonio Spurs, on two occasions, as well as the Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets.

San Antonio police said Forbes and former porn star, Elsa Jean, 26, have been living together for several months, per the Daily Mail. The two were reportedly out together when he became upset. They then drove to their home, where the altercation occurred, police said.
Police added that he woman required medical attention and that Forbes had been taken into custody. He was arrested at 5:15 a.m.
“Already without a team, the NBA star is now without a girlfriend, as Jean ‘is leaving him and is devastated’ following the incident,” a source close to the adult film actress exclusively confirmed to DailyMail.com.” the Daily Mail reported.
Aside from that, police would only say that the investigation is ongoing.
Forbes is 6-foot-2 and has been viewed as a perimeter-shooter-for-hire since entering the NBA in 2016. That said, he averaged just 3.6 points and 30 percent on 3-pointers in 25 games with the Timberwolves this season. He is the father of two.
