Be still my heart! This man has managed to capture the hearts of internet users, as well as mine, after he decided to do one of the noblest things one can do. Basically, Niall Harbison is going viral online after he decided to help out some furry friends during Christmas!

Harbison, from Thailand, has gone viral for celebrating Christmas with some stray dogs, helping over 100 pups who were left starving. “Street dogs around the world have a hard life.,” he wrote on Instagram. “But this group of 100 here in Thailand today were made feel [sic] very special. I was up at 4.30am to cook them the finest meal of their lives and people have been sending me toys from all over the world so I saved them up for today. Most of these dogs have never seen a toy in their lives.”

“Medicines, vet trips and daily nutritious food are much more important but just like humans I think sometimes dogs just need to have a special treat and enjoy themselves. I think it’s a day they’ll never forget,” he continued.
“The video was made in memory of two wonderful dogs called Kira and Valko who passed away recently in Ireland. Their owner wanted to do something special for them and I think they’ll be looking down very proudly today.”
On his donation page, he went on to explain that he looks after over 80 street dogs. He feeds them, provides veterinary and medical care, and sterilizes those that need to be sterilized. His work reportedly costs him between $2,000 to $3,000 a month.
Thankfully, he’s able to raise funds through donations. “Feeding them is a small part that only costs about $30 per day,” he noted, “But it is the vet, medicine and sterilizing bills that quickly add up.”
