Man Shoves 8-Inch Deodorant Up Butt, Left It There For 3 Weeks

When it comes to deodorant, there really is only one use. You put it under your armpits.

Most people already know this. But one man wanted to test its limits and came out on the wrong end.

All we know about this particular individual is he lives in India and he’s 27-years-old. Oh, and he placed an eight-inch can of antiperspirant up his butt.

That’s what happened and there is really no delicate way to say it.

Surgeons Remove Deodorant From Man’s Butt

As an aside, the man left the can in place for three weeks (!!!!) before checking himself into the hospital. We still don’t know why he did it. But, we pretty much have an idea as to why he did. I mean…we won’t get into too many details. PG13 people!

Needless to say, removing a can of deodorant is generally not why kids go to medical school. It’s probably not something that’s taught. But the doctors at this particular hospital approached the disgusting task with both grace and precision.

While the hospital, the man underwent a series of X-rays, revealing the 8-inch can that had lodged in his colon. He complained of stomach pain.

“This was a giant deal for us, we handled him with uttermost care,” Tapas Gosh, the superintendent of the Burdwan Medical School Hospital, told News18.

The doctors even released a video of the procedure, which we recommend avoiding for even a split second.

Anyway, while the can was removed, there very well could be some lingering effects, doctors said. The man suffered injuries to both his esophagus and intestines, which may require further surgery.

Bottom line: If you want to smell good, keep the deodorant under your arms. Anywhere else is simply the pits. Okay?
