Bears, moose and other unique critters can make their way into your yard, and yes put on quite a wild show. Just like this one moose, who has gone viral for doing exactly that. Basically, this moose shed his antlers in front of the camera in the front yard of a home in Houston, Alaska, about an hour north of Alaska.
The home is owned by Tyra and Chance Bogert, who shared the video on Facebook.
Moose Loses Its Antlers
In the 45-second clip, you can see the moose wandering about, then standing stationary, before finally shaking the antlers from his head. He quickly darts away — well, quick for a moose, anyway — as the antlers are left for the homeowners to clean up.
It’s not uncommon for Alaska residents to see moose walking around their driveway or in the yard. But not often does a moose shed their stuff for all the world to see.
As for the homeowners, well, they went out and got the roughly 50-inch rack, and now plan to mount it on their wall. Still, how wild is it? Just opening your ring app and then seeing a freaking huge moose outside your window.
The good thing is that no one was outside at the time of the incident, that would have been terrifying. Also, can we talk about how beautiful the scenery looks? Talk about a blue wonderland, it’s beautiful!
